I am currently developing a number of modules that i plan to sell commercially.

What would be the most suitable licensing solution for me to use?

Is one going to be released for dotnetnuke specifically? If so then when will it be released?

I am looking to lcense the modules by the portal. Would i be able to adjust an exiting licensing system inside my module to allow for this?

Thanks

there are various licensing schemes around - per portal, per installation or per site as well as subscriptions. It is totally up to you, how you  handle it.

you might look at how some people have them on Snowcovered and then you might look at flatburger and some of the ones on the dnn marketplace should give you some ideas

I have read that DotNetNuke will have its own module licensing system buit in at some point during the first half of 2007.

I was just wondering if this was true and if so is there an estimated date of release.

Thanks

Can anybody from core team give more information on this " module licensing system"?  It's such a good news for community. Thanks in advance.
