Is there any way I can tell my new members how many characters their password should include when they register on my site. This error doesn't help much;
"The password supplied is invalid. Passwords must conform to the password strength requirements configured for the default provider."

we do not display the password length and complexity rules as that would help potential hackers (i.e. let them know what type of text to try to crack the password). If you want to do this yourself, you can alter the localised text (see http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Projects/CoreLocalization/tabid/839/EntryID/377/Default.aspx for more info). You'l be looking to change the InvalidPassword key in the sharedresources file AFAIR.
