The version number in Browser title has been removed since ~ DNN 4.5.0.

to clarify: it was deemed a security risk to show the application version in plain sight. If a security hole would ever be discovered for a specific version, it would be quite easy for hackers to find dnn installations of that version...

Fair enough... good decision. Is it just me or is it still showing up on the Dotnetnuke home page as 4.5.3.

I'm pretty sure that is done by hand, as it is an easy way to show the community what version dotnetnuke.com is running

Thanks Erik. I suppose if you can design and code dotnetnuke, you can certainly add some text into the title bar via a skin mod.

Cheers.
