Went through Scott Walker's starter kit:  http://forums.asp.net/1114393/showpost.aspx

it worked fine a few weeks ago on a DNN 4.0.2 installation on the same IIS 6/win2003 server..

but now I can't get any new DNN to work...when I build it in  VSS express 2005, it builds properly using Control-5, but after the build , it opens a browser and gives an error:

it tries to open the DNN I just built:  http://localhost/junk0

but gives this error:

 "Page cannot be found"

The page you are looking for might have been removed.....

HTTP 400 - Bad Request

I don't understand it..what is causing this error???

is IIS causing me this problem??

I believe there is no dedicated answer to your question, the problem could be have hundreds of reasons.

But if the installation works for a few weeks you should try to find out what changes you have done with your computer, Updates, Service Packs, configuration changes and so on.

Have you tried to access the portal from outside VS express ?

HP
