As I used to employ, the IMC mechanism is fired when posted back.

I would like to check out if DNN supports AJAX style (callback) IMC or I have to resort to 3rd party solution.

Any suggestion would be appreciated,

Ricky.

Did you ever get a solution to that?

I'm interested also in a solution

DNN has supported client callbacks for quite some time now.  You can learn more from this document.  I guess your trick is to have one module share the other's id in order to call into it.  Additionally you have the option to utilize the MS AJAX callback functionality like PageMethods.

Have you gotten that to work? I tried with no success then read that they don't work on .ascx controls :(
