You will need the following enviroment on your development machine for your change:

  • Visual Studio 2003 (no 2005)
  • DotNetnuke 3.3.x (no 4.x)
  • UDT_3.3.6_source installed as module
Afterwards you will find the files to change at ~/DesktopModules/User Defined Table/Datatypes/url.vb. You will need to  change about 2 lines. Save.
    Test your changes!
Copy the new created assembly into the bin of your production system.

Sebastian,

first you need to install UDT 3.3.6 source version - please note, that it requires DNN 3.3.x, ASP.Net 1.1 and VS2003 to be modify or you need to migrate it to DNN4.

if you open sln file, you get displayed the project structure on the right hand side of the screen. select URL.vb from DataTypes folder inside the UserDefinedTable project.

In Class EditURL you find the "With ctlURL" section, where you can add .ShowTabs = false etc.

HTH

Cheers from Germany,
