I know, that that DNN version had issues with file syncronization, that has been solved in 4.3.7/4.4.0

I suggest that you either upgrade or check your files and folders tables in your database manually for orphaned and duplicate items. Sorry, AFAIK there is no other solution.

Thank you for the reply!  I would prefer not to upgrade in a rush and risk more problems.  I need to plan the upgrade.

Thanks for the pointer to the folders and files tables.  Will write a tool to find the differences.
