Thanks Leupold,

I have something like that in the skin.css :

#SearchTextBox INPUT
{
    border-right: #FF6600 1px solid;
    border-top: #FF6600 1px solid;
    font-size: 11px;
    border-left: #FF6600 1px solid;
    width: 140px;
    color: #005877;
    border-bottom: #FF6600 1px solid;
    height: 17px;
}

I have changed it to:

#SearchTextBox INPUT
{
    font-size: 11px;
    width: 140px;
    color: #005877;
    height: 17px;
}

That works for the rectangle around the text and button, just perfect. But the "web" and "Site" and "button" are centered across the page...
I have tried:     text-align: right; but it does not change anything... Any idea ?

this is difficult to analyse without access to source or live site. I suggest to install Developer Toolbar for IE (free for download from Microsoft.com) or FF (available from Mozilla.org) and check out the settings per element.

I have followed your advice, I have downloaded FireFox. The webdevelopper tool give me plenty of information. I know that skin.css is the problem (if I disable it, it is much better...). But I do not know how to get ride of the "center" option for the button.... Grrrrr
I sent you an URL where you can see the trouble, I sincerely hope that you can pinpoint the problem.

Thanks a lot,

DV

HellO Leupold,

I tried your suggestion, but I was not good enough to find the problem. John gave me the full solution for my specific problem; now I think that next time I will be able to track it alone. Thanks for the help, I learn everyday here.
