I know I'm a newbie to DNN, but not to programming.  I built a clean WinXP Pro box with all service packs and updates.  Then installed VWD2005 Express, VB2005 Express, and SQL2005 Express.  Then I downloade the 4.5.3 starter kit.  After VWD did it's thing, and before compiliing the project, I added the user ASPNET to the directory with full control.  Then after the site built with no errors, the install page errored out stating that I had to login in order to see the page.

What am I doing wrong?

Ensure in the virtual directory that you created that it allows access from anonymoususers.

Mitchel,

Thanks.  I'll give it a try later this afternoon and report back.
