Hi,

I've tried installing on a windows server 2003 with the version 4.5.3 from the install zip - I can get a successfull installation message but when I browse to default.aspx I initially got a 403 forbidden - I've granted permissions to network service, the iusr user etc and eventually granted full control to everyone but still got the error , when I examined the logs its was a 403 14 - directory browsing not permitted

So then I granted directory browsing the default page redirected to the install directory

The web config contains an install date which looks correct

Any ideas what else I might be missing - I've removed the vdir and recreated from scratch with the same results

Any help much appreciated

Richard

Did you set a default page - default.aspx - for your website / virtual directory in the IIS?
