I've tried installing about 5 times, reinstalled .Net Fx 2.0 and still am running into this issue.

I am using Windows MCE2005, have given full control to root directory of webapp to ASPNET and NETWORK SERVICE (just in case). Am using SQLExpress with just a blank database (am not attaching database that comes with install).

Still, i get this error

there seems to be an issue with file permissions as the installer fails to create a directory, which might be the issue during module install as well (needs to create App_Code/HTML subdirectory).
