I wonder if I'm missing something here but the editor does not seem to recognize folder permissions set for a user. Roles work fine.

To reproduce go to file manager and create a folder for a test user. Assign that user read and write perms on the folder, make sure no roles are assigned permissions on the folder. Log in as the test user and try and find the folder in the editor.

Is this a bug or is it by design?

Sorry, my bad. Yes this seems to be an issue on all my installs and anything that has the ability to assign a user perms to a folder has been upgraded to 4.5.3.
