Hi All,

I am new to Dot Net Nuke. Please let me what is the command to navigate from one module to other module?

I have read the documents but that explain only about how to navigate between various controls (.ascx files) of same module, for e.g Response.Redirect(Globals.NavigateURL(PortalSettings.ActiveTab.TabID, "Add", "mid=" + ModuleId.ToString()));

Will navigate to “add” control of current module.

I have seen that Globals.NavigateURL has overridden method, which accepts the TabID. This means that if I have destination modules tabID, I can navigate to that from any module. Does any one know how to get that TabID?

Any help will be appreciated…

Thanks.

You can use the methods off of the TabController class to find specific tabs, like GetTabByName.  Or use the methods off of ModuleController to find specific modules, and then access their TabId, like GetModuleByDefinition.

TabController lives in DotNetNuke.Entities.Tabs, while ModuleController lives in DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.  FYI, if you're using C# under VS2005, it should give you a smart tag if you type TabController (or any other class that is out of context) to give you the option to add a using statement or change it to be fully qualified.
