I have a Skin installed and DNN Designer gives me the option of putting my own image in the Header. The upload path given is :

/portals/0/dnndesigner/_default_skins/sideimages. Does my site address go before the /portals or no? And where do I enter it; in the File Manager, in skins, where?

Thanks in advance...

Steve

You can select your site logo in Admin > Site Settings.. is that what you mean?

You can use the <%SkinPath%> variable to display your images in src of the image. You need only to mention the relative path of the image in your skin folder like sideimages/imagename.jpg.

No Erik, not the logo, just an image to replace the ones in the skin. Check out my site- www.turftech.net   and you'll understand. I want to replace the plane with my own image. I'm mainly a "point & click" type person so things will need to be explained very simply. I don't know where to find paths, how to find the skin folder or where it is now (even though I uploaded it); or how to upload the image I want :)

Steve.. looking at your site clears things up quite a bit :)

the active CSS file that puts that image there is: /portals/0/dnndesigner/_default_skins/dnnd_36.css

just change the definition of class themeSideImage to

.themeSideImage {
      background-image:url(myimage.jpg);
}

and put myimage.jpg in folder /portals/0/dnndesigner/_default_skins/
