We finally published our Portal Managed Desktop Modules tool to add on to your DNN portal site.  You can manage who sees what modules from a control panel that is installed on the Host tab.  Check it out on SnowCovered or the DNN marketplace.

I have had a free module on my site since DNN 3x that can handle this, and a bit more.

Cheers,

Dave

any chance any of this could be incorporated into the open source product design?  just curious.  it's just something that sooner or later I would have thought would be fundamental to the product.  besides the financial aspect, unless it truly is a site specific requirement, there's comfort in having such functionality supported by the base product.
