Hello,

I am trying to set up a subsciption service. I created the Security Role and under the advanced setting set a $50.00 service fee and the billing period is every one year. and for the trial I just left the fields blank and set the selector to none. I do not want to offer a trial.

as admin I set up my portal payment settings to use Paypal initially but then changed it to authorize net then restarted the application logged in as host.

Ok so here are the list of problems I am having.

I registered to the portal with a new account, then I went to the services manager to subscribe to the new subscription service I just created.

1. The "use trial" link is still available and if I click on it I get access to the content that the subscribers to this service should get. I do not want a trial option and have it disabled (so I thought). So why does it still work?

2. After being able to subscribe to the trial that I did not want to be available in the first place, if I click the unsubscribe link it takes me out to the Paypal website as if I wanted to login and make a payment. This seems very odd.

3. Even after I switched my payment processor to Authorizenet and restarted the wedsite/application when I choose to subscribe to the service I am taken out to Paypal to pay the fee...?

I'm not sure these are bugs or not but it seems DNN subscription services are not functioning properly.

Regards

Jesse

Hi Jesse,

I'm interested in your questions as well, especially the trial part which seems to be required?

Please correct me when I'm wrong, but I believe PayPal is the only implemented payment gateway at the moment.

Thanks,

rudgr
