Hi Forum Module Team

Can you modify the Forum Module page (http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Projects/ModuleForums/tabid/820/Default.aspx) DOES NOT MAKE ANY SENSE to promote and/or confuse the people (forum module 4.4.x....is not released!)

Some quotes,,,, "With the release of version 4.4.0 of the Forum module comes a new era of stability" ...HEY.....It is NOT realesed yet.. , so... fix/change the text.
Ending with.... "All the things described above help make Forum 4.4.0 one of the most flexible forum modules available for DotNetNuke!"...

So guys... I am not hurry you up (not anymore), just change the text for something realistic.

Alfonso

It is very close to be released: Project Release Tracking Program:

Mariette, looks like you don't know what you are talking about... The forum has completely change, and the upgrade process is not easy. They are having issues since march, so I only ask to rewrite what they put in the main page of the forum module, in order to stop promoting something that is not public release. Even know with the "Project Release Tracking" you can see that the project is sleeping.

Mariette is right on the ball Alfonso, so she does know what she is talking about. I am not going to change the project page since it does clearly state the release version. The only thing holding up the module is a matter of opinion, which I am trying to get ironed out as soon as I can.

Hi Chris & Team,

Has there been any movement  regarding the forum module in the release tracker?  It seems like it has hit a road block before dog fooding.

An you provide any ETA or status?  I like most of the DNNers have been watching and waiting.  Just looking for a hint of a status that I can provide my clients.

Do you use Oracle?  Then try GoldFish.Net

Get it from CNET Download.com!
