I'm trying to get only my most recent blog entry to display on my home page.

Setting Recent Entries = 1 works as you would expect on other pages, but not on the Home page. On the Home page, it also displays the blog Title Description (title, author, date created). I don't want this displayed.

Does anyone know why the recent entries list would change its behavior from one page to another?
