Hi,

I have a layout that relies on an htc file extension script. My css has a behavior attribute that points directly to the htc file. The htc script makes a transparent PNG really show transparent instead of opaque (IE5 and IE6 bug). More on this script can be found here: http://www.twinhelix.com/css/iepngfix/. Here is the problem: the transparency does not work in DotNetNuke and I am getting mad trying to figure out why it does not work there. It simply shows the images opaque instead of transparent. Here is the strangest thing: when I save the source code for the page that doesn't work into an HTML file and save it to the same path... MAGIC. It works. Exactly the same code. So I started wondering why my DotNetNuke doesn't serve the .htc script. Does it have any filter that could be blocking users from downloading it? Any help will be very much appreciated. Thanks!

More than likely your script is not being loaded. If your CSS file has url(yourscript.htc) as the behavior's value, the script should be in the same folder as the CSS file.

Thanks, yes, you are right, I had the wrong path to the htc file and it was sort of tricky to find out. For some reason, the path that worked for the images did not work for the script and I really don't know why. I had to put the script in the root folder and address it like this: "behavior: url(/scriptname.htc)".
