Hi

I am having problems with IIS and DNN 4.5.3

I have been developing my site using Visual Studio 2005 and the built in Casini web server.  I have decided that this web server is rubbish and tried to switch to IIS.

When i open my application up at http://localhost/dotnetnuke, it goes straight to the installation screen.  Even though the site is nearly finished.  And if i choose "Auto" i get the following error:

Error Installing DotNetNuke

Current Assembly Version: 04.05.03

ERROR: Could not connect to database specified in connectionString for SqlDataProvider

As far as the connection string goes it works with visual studio.  I would have just left it but my worry is that when i go live it will throw the same error with my web host.

Any ideas would be great

Post your connection string without any passwords in it and someone will be able to pick out the error.

Well, i am working locally with the following connection string:

<add name="SiteSqlServer" connectionString="Data Source=.\SQLExpress;AttachDbFilename=|DataDirectory|ClassCampersDev.mdf;Integrated Security=True;User Instance=True" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient" />

Thanks for your answer
