Mike, Et Al,

We need a Child Portal solution for the above recommendation. I used to be able to put the WindowsSignin.aspx and  WindowsSignin.vb files in the Child portal folder and create the link as you recommend here with excellent results. With the provider being seperated this is no longer possible or I have not found a solution. It is extremely important to realize that many organizations use alternative logon processes such as smart cards (as in my environment; users don't have passwords, smart cards are required for logon). If you have tested with Child Portals and have found a solution I would be interested in your solution.

Jon, I've yet to find a solution for child portals but it is something that I have been working on.
