Okay I am developing my apps in the dynamic compiled method how do i add such a project to source safe with out adding the whoole DNN project - anybody got a clue / idea / instructions?

No problem :) .

The Survey module is as you know a Dynamic Module. The Core uses Vault for source control. I simply have one directory mapped to App_Code/Survey and one mapped to DesktopModules/Survey. If you look at the Survey Module Source control you will see those two roots. There is also a third one for installs that is mapped to the DotNetNuke install directory.

Michael -

We are using source safe 2005  I guess I dont see how to add one directory to source control - or what do i create the dynamic proiject by itself and not in the middle of the dnn project? - i can figure it out just want some input from others if possible
