Fellow Members,

I just wanted to take a minute to remind you that our next meeting is almost upon us.
I hope to see you all there!

If you have not registered on the Capital DotNetNuke User Group (D-DUG) please visit the web site.

Here is the meeting information:

Meeting date: Thursday, June 21st 2007
Meeting Time: 7:00pm to 9:00pm

Location: AT&T Building

1900 Gallows Rd

Vienna, VA 22182

Presenter: Antonio Chagoury

Topic: DotNetNuke Module Development

Description:

DotNetNuke is a fast growing open source portal based on the Microsoft .NET framework. Learn how you can use DotNetNuke for your business, and how you can start extending the framework with your own custom modules.

If are thinking of deploying or have already deployed DotNetNuke in your organization then chances are that the module bundled with it are not sufficient to run your site effectively.

We will be spending the evening demonstrating how you can effectively use the DotNetNuke StarterKit to get up and running quickly and develop data drive modules, package and deploy them.

Nice...first I have heard of your group,so thanks for the post...meeting close to the metro?  I commute in to the District via. VRE, so would have to catch the orange line out there, if I don't drive.  :)  If not, I'll check out the group's site and plan to attend future meetings when I brave I-95 by car.

Hello Terp,

The closest metro station is Dunn Loring, and it is on the orange line, however the location of the meeting is about 2/3 miles down the road (Gallows Rd) - tke a look at the directions on the web site. I am sure they'll have buses but I am not certain which ones.

I hope to see you there - and make sure you sign-up on the site!

Antonio.
