How to configure Windows Live Writer to use DNN Blog Module?
Does anyone have tried it?

Hello there!

You cannot currently use windows live writer on the DNN Blog. This is because we have not yet implemented the MetaWebLog API.

We are planning on implementing the API in the next generation of the Blog Module.

Hope this helps.

Good Job Amit!

The point still remains, however, that in its current state it does not support it (which is the original question).
If you are willing to make code changes on your own it is great! - But you lose on upgrade paths new functionality, bug fixes etc.

Hope this makes sense.

Antonio.

I did not change DNN Blog code or Tables structure, only a small tiny change to Blog's SP's which I think is better handling date updates..
My extention can be called a "module" that relies on your Blog module (references to it and use it's method).
I can actually think I can package the whole thing as a module.
