DNN 4.5.3 and SQL2005.

Installation finishes with out problems. But when you try to add new pages to the portal you have a strange behavior.

You add a page, but the page does not show up in the menu.

You have to go to the host settings make an update restart the application, and after that the newly added page shows on the menu.

Also if you try to move a newly added page up and down in the Admin Pages menu,  the pages jump up and down with out obeying  the click that you made with the arrows directions.

Again you have to go to the host settings using the update restart application option for the changes to take in.

Seems that everything reacts with a delay.

Any one any suggestions?

Does someone else has face the same situation?

Sounds like the Cache for your site isn't getting reset properly if things aren't showing up in the Menu when you add a page. You might try reextracting the DLLs into the BIN folder again. Perhaps downloading the installation package again from DNN.com and working with that newly DL'd file?

These symptoms indicate you are probably trying to run DotNetNuke in a web garden which is not supported.

Thank you Mr. Mitchell.

You were absolute right about that.

It was my mistake, that I had forgotten the web garden configuration.

Regards
