Well, I am not a novice, as I have been around since version 1. But I have not had to install DNN manually for years now and for some reason I cannot get it to work on my local box running SQL Server Standard Edition.
I have setup virtual directory, copied files, applied Network Service permissions, created db and user with dbo permissions, updated web.config and then browsed. What else am I missing?
Here is the error I get when I browse the site. Thanks for any help you can provide for this expert novice. I guess I am too dependent on DotNetPanel and DNN Auto-Installs on my servers.
Well...FCK bombs when I try to insert the full error message. I have noticed FCK bombing quite a bit on copy and paste. So I will try to cut in parts of it.
