Hi,

How can i set up so that when a person signs up they are automatically logged in but at the same time sends out an email. The idea behind this is to send out a coupon code when a person signs up. So i plan to use the verification code as the coupon code so i will need to have the person sign up and be logged in as the public verification works but also send out the email with their password and verification/coupon code.

Thanks

I think you need to change the core to implement this functionality. you can upgrade to registration control to add this functionality.

Email is sent when a user register with the portal by default.

If you want to send the verification code as coupen code you need to make your portal registration as the verified registration.

But if you want to keep your registration public and still want to send the coupen code, you need to change OR upgrade the registraion control of the core dnn framework.

You can change your registration type from public to verified from the admin menu under the site settings page.
