I have set up DNN on our local intranet.

and I have a user would like to upload modules.

How can I make him a host user?

you need to add this user as a host user.

OR

You can update the field IsSuperUser in the Users table. You can do this executing the following query [By choosing the SQL page from the host menu]

Update Users set IsSuperUser = 1 where Username='mention here the user name that will become the host'.
