I just released version 2 of the tribute skin.

This skin has a lot more depth and doesn't make the site feel cramped....

I will soon release some more containers for that skin, but I REALLY need to brag about it NOW, since I'm very proud of it...:-)

If interested, you can download the skin from www.martinmoesby.com

Sorry things have gone quite quiet. I've had a bunch of things going on with the holidays and some things going on at work.

It looks like the project will be splitting into two parts. I will be creating a CodePlex project for each piece, and can post the links up here for those interested. The hope is to make everything open source and available. Currently, the two efforts are:
- WoW Guild Roster module for DNN
- WoW Calendar module for DNN

The original CodePlex project that Logan and I were working on will probably be let to expire because I checked in a lot of extraneous code that will be mass-replaced...and I was learning CodePlex.  We can then create a couple new ones and move forward from there. But now that I'm getting the hang of the website, I'm REALLY getting to like it. You can't beat a free code project management system for communal work. I'm also going to try and get my blog back up and running on blogs.msdn.com and put progress up there.

Any interest in a group of us WoW DNN admins putting together a CodePlex project around DNN skins, and posting them up there for communal use?

Hi - I was having dinner with my son the other night and both he and his girlfriend and were talking about their enthusiasm for WOW and I am not sure how it all works, but he's on level 70 and she's on 52 and I mentioned something about this post to them, and of course, wide eyed and full of interest in having a site that did something that I confess to having little knowledge about.

But the outcome is this - because my son and his girlfriend (with their computers sitting side by side) really do love being involved in the whole Warcraft thing, I'm interested in helping create some skins, but not coming up with the designs - that's not my forte in an area that I know nothing about, but you can count me in on participating. I am sure I'll have a keen 'tester' making sure I do the right thing.  My son was quite excited talking about having a website that does something - I don't know - but the words I read on here were vaguely familar and I said if they're happy to give some constructive input, I'd make some nice WOW skins just for the fun of it.  ... Got to convince him that DNN is ok, he's a Linux/Slackware/CGI minded young man... and we have plenty of discussions about it but it's great to have interests that I can share with my kids.

Anyway - feel free to include me in your emails you send to communicate.

Setting up a Codeplex project around WoW DNN modules and skins sounds like a great idea. I'd really like to throw in a hand, if I can.

Im quite interested in hearing how you plan on getting this webservice to automatically pick up changes in the SavedVariables-files...Ijust cant see how it gonna work out. Looking forward to see a solution to that. I found a project on codeplex, that would take a savedvarables-file and convert it to nice tidy XML, dont know if that could be of any use.

I'm also quite interested in trying out that lua.dll, which would take the GEM-lua and convert it to richtext-datagrids. Someone mentioned that one, but I think of myself as a qutie able "googler" and I have come up empty. I even tried to install the LUA-language add-in for Visual studio, to see if that would do anything, but either I'm not so smart as I like to think, or else that was the wrong approach (or both..:-) )
