Hello all,

I have a DNN 4.5.3 site where I'm using the SolPart Menu to display just the 7 root level pages.  When a page is either active (on that page now) or selected (mouse-over/hover) I want the menu item to appear as a button.  When neither active or selected, then just the text name of the page should appear.  I have this all working, except for the selected state.  I'm getting the active state to appear as a button by using "leftseparatoractive" and "rightseparatoractive" (for the button ends) in my ascx skin file, and "background-image:" under "rootmenuitemactivecssclass" in my css file for the button body.

The problem is this, while I can get the button body to work in the selected state by putting  "background-image:" in the "rootmenuitemselectedcssclass" section of my css file, I can't get the button ends to display because there is no "leftseparatorSELECTED" and "rightseparatorSELECTED" commands to use in my ascx skin file.

Any suggestions?  Thank you all so much for your time and assistance.

Jnuw

I had direct discussions with Jon Henning on this subject once, and he confirmed what you have found.  I wound up investing in the r.a.d.Menu.
