When I insert [CATEGORY] into my template the template stops working... or shall I say content stops being populated at that point.  What am I doing wrong here? I am trying to get it into template.html.

Thanks

Ok here is the thing.. I selected all and the item appeared... BUT since I didnt check ALL in the setup of the item ALL didnt display...

It seems that all shoudl include all regardless of if all is checked... the problem here is that if you check all you change the category displayed on the item to ALL when they select all..

So say you have category CAR, TRUCK, ALL

You create an item with CAR and ALL.

When the user selects from the dropdown ALL then the category on the item will change to ALL.  I woudl think you would want to show CAR.  Does this make sense?

My apologies, I was busy last week with trying to solve a showstopper in the AD provider.

What you want in your template is {CATEGORIES] and then it'll show all the categories the item belongs to. Steve has been helping someone else with a similar problem in this thread... http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/54/threadid/146912/scope/posts/Default.aspx
