My website is hosted by GoDaddy.  GoDaddy offers DotNetNuke for free and I had it installed onto a subdirectory of the root.  I am able to sign in as an Admin on the home page, and I even made some changes.  My question is, how do I make it so that someone  enters the domain name (www.domainname.com) in their browser, and is then taken to the DotNet Nuke website I am editing.

The website that I used to have is still installed on the root directory and appears when the domainname is entered in the browser.

Thanks for any help.

I'm pretty sure that DNN has to be installed in the webroot directory as it uses the webroot.conf file and most everything is based off finding all the right bits from webroot.

You need to configure your GoDaddy account to point the domain name at your DotNetNuke folder.

If you don't know how to do this - then you will need to contact GoDaddy Tech support.

Also you will need to add the Domain Name to the Portal Aliases table.  You can do this from the Host/Portals menu

Thanks, but I can't find the Host/Portals menu.  Is the menu in the GoDaddy website, or is it in the DNN section?
The first part of your answer I think I understand.  If my virtual subdirectory is named "DNN", would I enter the following as the alias:
www.mydomain.com/DNN   or do I put something different.  I really appreciate your help.  I think once I get past the setup type issues, the rest will be easy.
