I’m using the Instant C# application to translate the following method from Visual Basic to C#.  The code is from the CSCoffeeShopListingController.cs class of the CoffeeShopListing module from a DNN book. The error I am getting is explained below. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Mark

Namespace:

Original VB Code:

       Public Function EganEnterprises_GetCoffeeShops( _
           ByVal ModuleId As Integer) As List(Of CoffeeShopListingInfo)
            Return CBO.FillCollection(Of CoffeeShopListingInfo)(CType( _
            DataProvider.Instance(). _
            EganEnterprises_GetCoffeeShops _
            (ModuleId), IDataReader))
        End Function

C# Code:

public List<CSCoffeeShopListingInfo> YourCompany_GetCoffeeShops(int ModuleId)
        {
            return CBO.FillCollection<CSCoffeeShopListingInfo>((IDataReader)(DataProvider.Instance().YourCompany_GetCoffeeShops(ModuleId)));

You'll need to provide just a little more code than that please.  It looks like it is likely a namespace issue, but hard to tell without seeing the complete code.

(shameless plug) Is that from my Building Websites with VB.NET and DotNetNuke 4 book?

If so it appears you have not translated the "CoffeeShopListingInfo" class. It is a separate file from the CoffeeShopListingController file.
