I thought that there was no upgrade path from 3 to 4.  However the download page now states...

"DotNetNuke 4.x is the active development branch and is designed to be used with ASP.NET 2.0. Please note that there is automated upgrade path from DotNetNuke 3.x.  "

Is the "no" just missing from the page, or is there now an upgrade path?

Yes there is an upgrade path - I just upgraded a DotNetNuke version 3.3.4 installation to a version 4.5.3 installation without any problems. You must be sure to run the new installation in ASP.NET 2.0 and update the new web.config with your connection string (2 places for 4.x.x) and machine and decryption keys.

Always back up your installation and database before performing upgrades of any kind!

Good luck,

Mike
