Hi!

1) is there a free module or something or a token that I can add to my page or a text / html module that displays the users name?

2) Is there a module that I can set up to do a personalized countdown and have each user select a date from a calendar? I want to create a page that says [Username] has __________ days until their wedding!

Thanks!

1. <%=DotNetNuke.Entities.Users.UserController.GetCurrentUserInfo.UserName%>

Does this code go into a text/html module? Is it exactly how it is typed above? Thanks!

Eh..... no this is code you can put in your (DNN) skin (I might be a little preoccupied...)
If you put itin your skin the name of the user will be rendered (in fact the framework replaces it with the username when it renders the page)
