I am trying to change the text that is shown at the top of the registration page on a DNN4.4.1 site.  The site is using the 'Public' membership setting.

Currently, its saying "*Note: Membership to this portal is Public. Once your account information has been submitted, you will be immediately granted access to the portal environment. All fields marked with an red arrow are required."

I have gone into the Admin|Languages, Language Editor and have changed the 'Publicmembership.Text' item under Local Resources\admin\security\App_LocalResources\register.ascx.resx to the text I want.  I have done this for both languages installed (en-US, en-AU).  However, this hasn't changed the text that is displayed on the Register page. I have confirmed that the changes I made are still in the system.

Can someone please let me know where I am going wrong.

AFAIR there is the same text in GlobalResources.resx

Thanks Sebastian... When I had a look in GlobalResources.resx I only found references to the emails sent out at time of registration, not the text on the page.
