Hello,

I have installed DotNetNuke 4 on my IIS6 server.
I am hosting multiple sites on the same IP address so I have configured IIS to use Host Header Value to direct each HTTP request to the correct website.

However if I type the domain of the dotnetnuke portal
http://www.mydomainname.co.uk
nothing happens, I get no response and lots of traffic between my browser and the server.

if I type

http://www.mydomainname.co.uk/Home/tabid/37/Default.aspx

I get to the portal with no problems and everything works fine on it.

Is Dotnetnuke compatible with Host header value hosting?

Regards,

Keyvan

Yes...did you create the appropriate portal alias that matches your host header value and configure your DNS settings?

Make sure default.aspx is in the list of default documents in IIS.
