When hitting one of the DNN's maximize buttons, the page refreshes and reverts back to minimize. This is a huge problem if anyone knows what's going on? It only happens on a few of my websites I upgraded.

this issue has not been reported before. did you try to restart the application (login as host user, go to host settings and use command at the end of settings).

Yes I've restarted, recycled the app pool, and rebooted for that matter. I just expanded my test and it happens on all dotnetnuke websites running 4.5.3 and IE 7.0. Actually hardly anything works in IE... seems to be anything related to AJAX. I can no longer get to settings. The control panel won't expand without a few clicks. It just refreshes the page. This happens on several computers in IE. Doesn't seem to happen in FireFox, that's why I haven't noticed it. Can I turn off AJAX in DNN?

Once I got this error:

I just confirmed this happens on a new install as well and also earlier versions -- 4.4.X and up. Only in IE 7.0. I'll give you a login if someone wants to check it out. Any ideas? Maybe something on the server I don't have installed?

Problem Identified! This is crazy! Thanks goes to BitComet for helping me waste an afternoon on this! :P

It appears I had an IE "AddOn" installed using: BitCometBHO_1.1.5.19.dll

Apparently it was intercepting the AJAX and refreshing the page. But never fear, those using BitComet only need to download the newest version and it will install an updated DLL correcting the problem.

Case closed!
