When I first created my DNN site, added a blog, added a entry - everything was fine... however then under my user account (which was assigned the role admin) I wasn't presented any options through the module to add a new entry. However, I could still add an entry through the Admin account. So I thought this may have been a permissions thing... but I'm in the Admin role so it was a bit confusing. I manually added my account to the page and module permissions and gave r/w permissions to both. This didn't work.

I was frustrated so I ripped out the Blog module (I think 3.1.1) and reinstalled the module using the latest version. Now I even have a bigger problem, under my host or admin or my personal account - if I add the blog module to a page, I don't get any options to create a blog, nothing. It looks like just a bunch of blank containers. However, if I switch to view mode then I do see the calendar for the blog archive...

Like I said, its very strange, and at this point I just want to get back to where I can add a blog entry! Any ideas at all would be appriciated!!!

Thank you in advance!

J.R.

I suggest to uninstall blog, ensure, that /dektopmodules/blog/ folder and all associated tables and stored procedures in the database are deleted and reinstall blog.
