I have DNN 4.5.3 on a live server and a development machine. On the Live server, "Company" appears under Manage Profile. However, I have been trying to use Company in a module modification (Repository) on my development machine but Intellisense warns that it does not exist. Under Manage Profile, sure enough, Company does not appear.

Short of reinstalling DNN on my development machine, anybody know how to get Company back into Profiles?

On your dev installation, go to User Accounts in Admin menu and use Manage Profile Properties  to add a company profile property.

Thanks Sebastian. I have added Company as you suggested. Is there a technique to access the "company profile property" via code-behind as below...

TEDescriptionField.Text = "

" & _
"

"

I am building this module (Repository) against DNN 3.1.7 using Visual Studio.net since the Repository is a module that has not gone to ASP.net 2.0 yet. I believe that I read in a post that these "non-hardcoded" user profile items are stored in a UDT? How can I grab "Company"?

All profile properties are stored in a serialized table like the data of the UDT module.  However I don't know, how to access them inside the Repository Templates, in VB-Net you would acess them using UserInfo.getProfileProperty("Company") AFAIR.

Thank you, Sebastian. The correct verbage is UserInfo.Profile.GetPropertyValue("Company").
