Hello there! I have the problem that I must install DNN4.0.2 in a subdirectory of my web (the hoster is not able to allow the IIS worker process write permissions in the root web). So I have to install DNN4.0.2 in a directory like http://www.mydomain.de/de Of course that doesn't work... It seems that some files (like web.config or bin-directory) must be in the root directory. Can anyone tell me how to install 4.0.2 in a subdirectory? Is there a guide how to install 4.0.2 in a subdirectory? Is it (i hope not) not possible to install 4.0.2 in a subdirectory?

What you'll need to do is configure that subdirectory as an IIS "Application".  However, if your host won't even let you set the root permissions, they might not let you create applications either.

If your host still won't work with you, I'd highly recommend PowerDNN.  They have excellent support and really fast servers.  They completely support DNN and really know what they're doing.
