Hi, is there a way in DNN to communicate between 2 modules?

For example I have a search module, allowing to select some search queries such as between two dates, country, users etc...
When I press the search button, another module shows the results filtered with the search-module query options.

We really need this heavy in our project. Thanks.

You can try thirdparty module from http://components.init.si. Module supports multiple searches on existing database tables/views.

Hi, I think that you could use the built-in Inter-Module Communication system. Here is its description:
"The Inter Module Communication (IMC) is a very versatile and pointed way to transfer
data within modules in your portal."  The explanation of the system you can find in "DotNetNuke Module Developers Guide.pdf"

You can find the document here.

Check the functionality of Code Search modules. They've got to be doing something similar to waht you want.
