First solution may have not worked for you because it makes module visible only to logged in admin or super user. Second solution reverts current version to the previous one. Aparently not every new idea is a good one - some new logic in that module is too confusing to users. So, nothing really "caused" it except for a desire to make something better that, unfortunately, didn't have a good outcome... :)

I used the second solution on my website (www.bitsbytesandbooks.com) but then I got an error on the page when I'm not logged in (then the Account Login module shows up with just the title bar):

Module Load Warning
One or more of the modules on this page did not load. This may be temporary. Please refresh the page (click F5 in most browsers). If the problem persists, please let the Site Administrator know.

When I click the Login link, I get the same error message again for the User Login Module and that module shows up with only the title bar.

Help!
