I'm building a DNN Portal, and my customer has a concern:  Namely, that every module, at all times, has full DBO access to the SQL server.

During times that modules are not being installed, is it safe to run DNN under a user account that does not have the ability to alter tables or other aspects of the DB schema, and to 'flip' the connection string in web.config for those brief times that such access is required?

I'm sure its possible (with some core modifications), but you'll really run into some problems when it comes to managing data simply because each module implements "making changes" differently, so there's no way to know when a module will be getting data and when it will be writing data.
