Hello,

Ever since we installed DNN back in December we have had a really annoying problem.  If the user takes a long time (like 10 minutes) to type his/her message then when they submit the post the user is redirected to the message Preview page.  This wouldn't be too bad but the frustrating thing is that the message is cleared.   We have tried upgrading to the latest forum software but nothing seems to fix it.

Anyone else seeing htis?

Platform Win 2K3 Server / SQL Server 2005 - All patches applied to OS and DNN.

Actually, Yes! I've had this problem and have an article on my site about it. In essence I found that in the compression and performance settings there is an option to keep the "page state" on the page or in memory.

Keeping this setting to page for me was the answer because if it were set to memory, then all the text that I had typed in within a miniute or so, would disappear when I pressed submit.

If you've changed any of those settings, I would reccomend starting there.
