Hi,

I am converting an existing vb.net application into a DNN Module.

The application asks the user a number of questions in order. The second question is only visible when the first question has been answered correctly. At the moment, the application uses session variables to indicate what questions have been answered and what needs to be asked next.

I don't think session variables are the best way of doing this in DNN, or in .net for that matter, so, what's the best way of hiding/un-hiding tables as the form is filled in please?

Any recommendations please guys?

Thanks

Trev

maybe you could use the DNN Wizard control (thats the control that is used for the install wizard and for the site wizard). Read more about it here: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/LinkClick.aspx?fileticket=Bh8Z2sXwWHU%3D&tabid=478&mid=857

I think we may be phasing that out due to the Wizard Control in ASP.NET 2.0. I don't know for sure but I think that's why we did not use it for the install wizard. Charles Nurse would  know.
