I can't even get to the forum now (error: Request is not available in this context). Which table? The alias column is populated for all rows in forum_users.

I tried to add a new forum module to a new page and got (Object reference not set to an instance of an object) for the DotNetNuke.Modules.Forum.Groups.RenderTopHeader method.

Any other ideas?

Follow-up: I've deleted the forum, removed the module, reinstalled the module, and added the module to the page but I am getting the same rendertopheader method error as above.

I'm using web host 4 life, could this be some permissions issue?

go into module settings and turn the ShowNavigator to false.

There are no menu options for the forum settings, only the menu items found in most containers are there. I don't think it is fully loading before the error is thrown.

(BTW, I appreciate you taking the time to help.)

Follow-up: I punted and restored the DB from before the upgrade and started over again. This time, I dangled a chicken foot above my monitor. That seems to have done the trick, the upgrades went fine and my forum appears to work.
