I am brand new to DNN and I am completely at a loss as to why I am getting 79 Errors and 3 Warnings with the StarterKit. The number of errors are deceptive as the affected line that appear to be the source of the errors is as follows;

DotNetNuke.Services.Upgrade

In the Global.asax.vb file:
Imports DotNetNuke.Security.Roles
Imports DotNetNuke.Services.Log.EventLog
Imports DotNetNuke.Services.Upgrade

Here are the actual errors from VWD:

Warning 1 Namespace or type specified in the Imports 'DotNetNuke.Security.Roles' doesn't contain any public member or cannot be found. Make sure the namespace or the type is defined and contains at least one public member. Make sure the imported element name doesn't use any aliases. c:\inetpub\wwwroot\DotNetNuke\App_Code\Global.asax.vb 26 9 http://localhost/DotNetNuke/

Warning 2 Namespace or type specified in the Imports 'DotNetNuke.Services.Log.EventLog' doesn't contain any public member or cannot be found. Make sure the namespace or the type is defined and contains at least one public member. Make sure the imported element name doesn't use any aliases. c:\inetpub\wwwroot\DotNetNuke\App_Code\Global.asax.vb 27 9 http://localhost/DotNetNuke/

Warning 3 Namespace or type specified in the Imports 'DotNetNuke.Services.Upgrade' doesn't contain any public member or cannot be found. Make sure the namespace or the type is defined and contains at least one public member. Make sure the imported element name doesn't use any aliases. c:\inetpub\wwwroot\DotNetNuke\App_Code\Global.asax.vb 28 9 http://localhost/DotNetNuke/

Error 7 Name 'Config' is not declared. c:\inetpub\wwwroot\DotNetNuke\App_Code\Global.asax.vb 68 16 http://localhost/DotNetNuke/

I followed the installation instructions, line for line.. about 8 time with the same result.
Will someone please let me know what I am doing wrong?

Thanks,
Steve
