In my UDT I have a datetime column which I would like to have the current datetime pre populated within.

I was looking at putting DateTime. Now in the default column but it doesn't seem to like..

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Chris

TokenReplace will be a new feature in UDT 3.4.0, that is currently digging its way through the release tracker.

Well, I am afraid that we have introduced token replace all over UDT3.4.0 inside url captions or filtering, though we simply forget it to extend this also to the default values.

Stefan,

I know that I am older than you, but not as senile that I forgot to implement TokenReplace for default values as well (see EditControls.vb Line 63). Therefore all users shall look forward to UDT 3.4.0, that will allow to use tokens in default values, expressions of Calculated Columns, caption Strings of URLs and Downloads as well as filter strings.

Perhaps I should drop off my sunglasses, as I was lost in all the enhancements and searched the wrong places (editUserDefinedTable.ascx.vb and the datatypes itself). Sebasian is totally right!
