I have a documents module on a page.

I am logged in as administrator.

There is an existing document that I wish to update.

I click on the pencil icon next to the document.

The filename of the document is blah.pdf, I click on upload new file, click browse and select a file on my computer

named blah.pdf and then click on Upload Selected File.

I receive the following error message:

An Error Has Occurred When Attempting
To Save The File D:\InetPub\website\Portals\0\Informational\docs\blah.pdf.
Please Contact Your Hosting Provider To Ensure
The Appropriate Security Settings Have Been
Enabled On The Server.

This is running on DNN 4.04.01 and the documents module is 03.01.06

I'm not sure what I'm missing, any suggestions ?

The error message indicates that the operating system is returning an error when DNN attempts to write the file.  You need to check that the NETWORK SERVICE user has full rights on your D:\InetPub\website folder and that those rights are propogating down to /portals/0/informational/docs..
